Fort Worth After School Program Coordinator Pool Site Supervisor
Position Purpose: Responsible for daily operations at the assigned FWAS program site. Designs and oversees delivery of experiential and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) based programs for FWAS program participants at respective sites. Provides a safe and professional environment for students to learn.

Essential Job Functions

Recruiting & Outreach: Oversees marketing/advertising program; recruits students and their families most in need of academic improvement; solicits school staff, college students, parents, and volunteers to work in the FWAS program.

Budget Management: Submits requisitions to appropriate FWAS staff; reviews KRONOS punches and time sheets; collects and submits Monthly School Invoices (MSI) to grant coordinator.

Program Requirement Compliance: Meets regular student and adult participation goals; adheres to program frequency requirements; develops activities that address all program components.

Administration: Distributes, collects, and maintains FWAS registration forms; creates and upholds a current activity schedule; keeps sign-in sheets; enters student and family attendance into the TX21 database.

Staff Development: Trains staff and volunteers on FWAS policies and procedures; develops and administers regularly scheduled meetings and trainings for staff.

Safety: Follows established safety procedures; corrects unsafe conditions onsite and reports any issues to supervisor.

Personal Work Relationships: Maintains a commitment to the District's mission, vision, and strategic goals; exhibits high professionalism, standards of conduct and work ethic; demonstrates cultural competence in interactions with others.

Other Duties as Assigned: Performs all job-related duties as assigned and in accordance with Board rules, policies and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of federal and state guidelines and District policies and procedures regarding education and students; skill in talking to others to convey information effectively; skill in instructing students and managing their behavior; skill in organization and time management; ability to provide information and assist office personnel, parents, and students related to District programs and activities; ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure; ability to use software to create spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing; ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written forms; ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth; ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.

Travel Requirements
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Physical & Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals; posture: prolonged sitting and standing; motion: frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; lifting: frequent light lifting and carrying (less than 10 pounds); occasionally up to 35 pounds.

Attendance
Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.

Mental Demands
Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in Education or related field required; Master’s degree from accredited college or university in Education or a related field preferred. Experience: 4 years’ working with high risk children and their families (in 21st Century ACE or After School summer programs preferred); 4 years’ supervisory work with small‑medium sized teams. Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in some settings.
