Digital Marketing Strategist
The digital marketing strategist partners with units and departments within the College to integrate social and paid media into marketing plans. Responsible for producing engaging social media content on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, overseeing departmental accounts, and participating in content strategy sessions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce engaging, original, high‑quality content across the College’s digital platforms, implementing a social content strategy.

Build and execute digital marketing campaigns, schedule posts, monitor conversations, and engage stakeholders in real time.

Tag content, monitor engagement traffic, generate reports, analyze insights, and make recommendations.

Maintain a digital content calendar to promote events, initiatives, and goals.

Suggest and implement new ideas to enhance brand awareness and encourage audience participation.

Facilitate digital advertising for departments and units via Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Ensure units understand digital advertising for recruitment support.

Provide support for digital advertising efforts.

Collaborate on creative content for free media channels, review copy before publication, manage a social media student worker, provide professional development, and approve timesheets in OneSource.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, or related field.

Three or more years of demonstrable expertise in managing social media on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager.

Strong attention to detail, self‑starter, initiative, independent and team orientation.

Ability to compile, report and analyze social media analytics.

Time‑management skills with little supervision.

Innovative and creative problem‑solving.

Excellent written and verbal communication, impeccable grammar and spelling, AP Style knowledge.

LinkedIn job posting knowledge preferred.

Working knowledge of graphic design software.

Commitment to outstanding customer service, multitasking, strong work ethic, interpersonal skills.

Excellent organization and planning skills.

Physical Demands

Sitting at a computer and attending meetings most of the time.

Lifting objects up to 20 pounds.
