What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of our State, Local and Education (SLED) Public Sector sales team, building our client-base and serving current customers. You’ll prospect, support account strategy, implement contracts, drive adoption of online tools, resolve problems, and identify growth opportunities.
Prospect for new customers while partnering with the sales team to close opportunities.
Support account strategy and sales efforts.
Develop success plans with customers.
Implement, migrate, and onboard new and existing customer contracts.
Drive training and adoption of online self‑service tools for SLED customers.
Resolve customer problems and recommend solutions.
Report opportunities to increase in‑person interactions for Sales Reps.
Support preparation for quarterly business reviews.
Prioritize service requests based on customer impact.
Submit credits for review and ensure customer communication.
Submit and follow up on internal support requests.
Process feature and order transactions and support renewals.
Collaborate with sales to identify upsell, cross‑sell, and migration opportunities.

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Valid driver’s license and clearance to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
Experience prospecting, selling, or supporting business accounts.
Ability to identify customer opportunities and communicate effectively.
Background in supporting sales representatives and managing customer success.
Experience in driving adoption and resolving technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in a relevant field.
Proven track record of identifying and nurturing customer opportunities.
Experience in hunting for new business and partnering to close sales.
Ability to grow business with existing customers and design engaging programs.
Strong sales tracking and appointment‑making skills.
Where you’ll be working
This mobile role involves working primarily from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for training and meetings.
40 hours per week.

Salary and Compensation
This commission‑based position offers a potential to earn more. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this requisition for a full‑time schedule is: $42,000.00 – $68,600.00. Part‑time compensation will be adjusted accordingly.
