Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations
Drive vision for station team and create quality, process change, and other lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the DS to meet and exceed the business plan
Problem‑solve for closing gaps between performance and goals
Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations, Area and Shift Managers; measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable for their performance and that of their departments
Manage an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers, subject to ever rising volume and complexity, operating on a 24/7 basis
Manage day‑to‑day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs)
Present operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership team
Hire and develop top talent; create and implement a talent plan for the site including acquisition, performance and career management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement
Leverage the Operations, Area and Shift Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and integrating them into improvement plans for the functional area
Build strong culture and engagement at all levels of the delivery station team
Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and throughout the network
Work with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area, and to provide needed support for other staff initiatives
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
7+ years’ direct management experience, including a salaried, hourly and agency workforce, in a logistics, fulfillment, last‑mile manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution environment
Demonstrated track record of delivering performance and financial results in high‑pressure environments
Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques
Experience with the full lifecycle staffing, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations
Strong analytical capability; proven ability to dig into data and find solutions for a variety of operational problems
Excellent communication skills (including local language and English, written and verbal)
Experience managing third‑party resources on a regional
ational scale
Experience managing contingent workforce in a business with peak seasons
Flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field and MBA preferred
Experience in a startup environment
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
Interest in long‑term career development

Competitive salary range: USA, TX, Austin – $135,000.00 – $182,700.00 annually; USA, TX, Georgetown – $135,000.00 – $182,700.00 annually; USA, TX, Round Rock – $135,000.00 – $182,700.00 annually
