Seeking a skilled Transmission Line Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on designing high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software, collaborating with project teams, and developing construction documents.
Key responsibilities
Design high voltage transmission lines and develop construction documents, including project design criteria and drawings
Facilitate collaboration with project teams and act as the primary client contact to determine project scope and requirements
Estimate construction costs and specify materials while coordinating specific design aspects of projects
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in Transmission Line Engineering or a related field
PE license or the ability to acquire one within 6 months is highly preferred
Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
Previous experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
