Seacoast Business Funding (SBF), a division of Seacoast Bank, is seeking an experienced and highly connected Head of Revenue Development / National Sales Manager to lead national sales strategy and drive revenue growth.

This executive-level role is responsible for building and executing a scalable sales platform, leading a team of Business Development Officers, and actively originating new business within the factoring and Asset-Based Lending (ABL) markets. You will play a critical role in expanding SBF’s market presence, deepening referral networks, and delivering consistent, high-quality deal flow aligned with Seacoast Bank’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies, annual business plans, and revenue targets
  • Drive pipeline growth, new client acquisition, and portfolio expansion
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting, forecasts, and strategic insights to executive leadership
  • Continuously refine go-to-market strategies based on competitive and market dynamics
  • Partner with SBF Marketing to align sales strategy with marketing initiatives, campaigns, and lead generation efforts
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of Business Development Officers
  • Establish a results‑driven sales culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and performance
  • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of sales personnel

Business Development & Relationship Management

  • Actively originate new business opportunities within factoring and ABL
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources and centers of influence
  • Represent SBF and Seacoast Bank in the marketplace, enhancing brand awareness and reputation
  • Expand and leverage referral networks to drive consistent deal flow
  • Collaborate with Marketing to support events, content strategy, and targeted outreach to key referral channels

Credit & Transaction Leadership

  • Perform initial screening and qualification of lending opportunities
  • Provide strategic input on deal structuring in partnership with credit, underwriting, and portfolio management teams
  • Facilitate efficient transaction execution through effective cross‑functional coordination

Market & Product Development

  • Identify emerging industry trends, competitive positioning, and client needs
  • Recommend and support development of new products, services, and market opportunities
  • Contribute to expanding SBF’s capabilities within Seacoast Bank’s commercial platform
  • Provide field insights and feedback to Marketing to refine messaging, positioning, and campaign effectiveness
  • Serve as a key member of the SBF senior leadership team
  • Contribute to strategic planning, operational initiatives, and organizational growth
  • Partner across Seacoast Bank business lines to drive alignment and enterprise value

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in Factoring and Asset-Based Lending (ABL) within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of originating and closing complex commercial finance transactions
  • Demonstrated experience leading and scaling high‑performing sales teams
  • Strong, established industry network with diverse referral sources, including:
  • Turnaround and restructuring professionals
  • Accounting firms and financial advisors
  • Legal professionals (bankruptcy, restructuring, and commercial attorneys)
  • Financial intermediaries and consultants
  • Proven ability to generate consistent deal flow through referral relationships and business development efforts
  • Strong understanding of credit, underwriting, loan structuring, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive-level interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities

Preferred

  • Experience within a bank-affiliated specialty finance or commercial lending platform
  • Demonstrated success building national sales strategies and expanding market presence
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with marketing teams to support growth initiatives
