The Opportunity A well-established, growth-oriented B2B SaaS company (65 employees) is seeking a Head of Marketing to serve as a transformative leader and hands-on executor. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CEO, with a seat on the company's leadership team. Their marketing team has a solid foundation in brand and content this hire will bring the growth marketing rigor, strategic clarity, and cross-functional leadership needed to turn the function into a measurable pipeline engine.

What You'll Own

Own the full marketing strategy, roadmap, and quarterly OKRs aligned to company growth priorities

Lead demand generation strategy and be hands-on in execution campaign design, HubSpot workflows, testing, and performance optimization

Define ICP, buyer personas, segmentation, and messaging architecture; drive Sales and Marketing alignment

Build and own pipeline attribution reporting for the leadership team lead flow, MQL definitions, CAC/ROAS, and what to scale or cut

Establish a campaign-based operating model: integrated campaigns, shared metrics, clear owners

Assess product marketing needs and lead the hiring and onboarding of a dedicated PMM (planned for late this year or early next)

Coach and develop a 4-person marketing team (growing to 5); clarify role boundaries and make smart resourcing decisions

What We're Looking For Experience

812 years in B2B SaaS marketing with direct responsibility for pipeline outcomes

Proven success building and scaling demand gen programs (paid, organic, automation)

Experience in a lean or scaling org where leaders execute tactically while setting strategic direction

Track record of leading through influence across multiple levels of an organization

Functional Strengths

Deep expertise in growth/demand gen: channel strategy, experimentation, conversion optimization, marketing automation, and attribution

HubSpot fluency comfortable building automations, dashboards, and workflows directly

Enough product marketing breadth to define scope, evaluate PMM candidates, and guide early PMM work

Leadership Style

Player-coach mentality comfortable being hands-on indefinitely, not just delegating

Communicates clearly across audiences: CEO, peers, and individual contributors

Solutions-oriented, avoids siloed execution, builds relationships quickly

Can navigate a fast-moving environment while building structure that scales
