Pacific1031 Exchange Business Development Director — Newport Beach / Orange County
Compensation idea:
Base + commission + override.
For an experienced rep, I would consider:
- $75,000–$125,000 base
- Commission on closed exchange fees
- Bonus for new referral sources
- Higher commission after production threshold
- Possible equity/profit participation only after 12–24 months of proven production
Pacific1031 is seeking an experienced business development representative in the Newport Beach / Orange County market to develop referral relationships for 1031 exchange services.
The ideal candidate has prior 1031 exchange, title, escrow, commercial real estate, CPA, legal, wealth management, or qualified intermediary experience. Candidate must be comfortable calling on commercial brokers, residential investment brokers, CPAs, attorneys, escrow officers, wealth advisors, and real estate investors.
Responsibilities include developing referral sources, attending industry events, delivering 1031 presentations, maintaining a CRM pipeline, coordinating with exchange officers, and helping clients understand the 45-day and 180-day exchange process.
Prior 1031 experience is strongly preferred. Existing Orange County real estate relationships are required.
