About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to join our Strategic Accounts organization. In this highly visible role, you will help guide AWS customers on their multi‑year cloud journey, ensuring all AWS teams collaborate effectively to deliver outcomes for the customer.

Key Responsibilities

Guide AWS customers along their multi‑year journey to the cloud, ensuring smooth collaboration among AWS teams to deliver outcomes.

Serve as a critical partner, leveraging experience with large-scale agentic AI and cloud transformations to shepherd customers through AWS adoption stages.

Interface with customer and AWS leadership, driving collaboration across core account groups (Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services), product/engineering teams, and customer teams.

Translate strategic initiatives in the account plan into executable actions, working backward from customer milestones.

Lead reporting and tracking functions, manage cadence, and own education plans, roadmaps, executive briefings, and technical engagements to support customers’ cloud journey.

Think big, invent solutions, and take ownership of customer challenges by providing new ideas, tools, and mechanisms.

Advocate for AWS services, influence customers’ adoption, and contribute to the day‑to‑day management of their successful AWS adoption.

Travel 15–30% of the time to customer locations.

CSM Focus Areas

Accelerating AWS Adoption through Delivery and Execution.

Identify & Align on Strategic Opportunities: work with the account team to pursue strategic cloud opportunities such as large‑scale workload migrations & modernizations, GenAI/Agentic, data and analytics, digital innovation, high‑performance computing, product innovation, and business agility.

Customer Enablement: act as the customer’s cloud journey coach, voice of the customer within AWS, evangelizing needs to leadership, product, and engineering teams.

Implement governance structures to govern the partnership with the customer and their AWS adoption.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent.

10+ years of experience in customer-facing technology roles (e.g., solutions architecture, customer/field engineering, technical account management, customer success, technology consulting, or enterprise technology strategy).

5+ years of experience engaging with executive/senior customer stakeholders (e.g., Director+ level), driving business outcomes through technology adoption.

3+ years of hands‑on experience with cloud computing, including architecture patterns, workload migration/modernization strategies, or workload optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience advising C‑suite or executives on cloud strategy, digital transformation, or Gen AI/Agentic strategy.

Familiarity with Generative AI / Agentic AI concepts with the ability to facilitate strategic conversations on GenAI use cases, adoption frameworks, and business impact.

Experience managing a portfolio of complex, high‑value workloads across industry verticals.

Technical depth in one or more areas: cloud migrations, application modernization, data & analytics, infrastructure optimization, security & compliance, or AI/ML/Gen AI/Agentic.

Track record of building trusted advisor relationships with external customers, resulting in measurable business outcomes (revenue growth, workload expansion, executive sponsorship).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive‑level narratives.

AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate, Certified AI Practitioner, Machine Learning, or equivalent) or demonstrated equivalent technical depth.
