What You’ll Do:

Sell iHeartMedia’s portfolio of News/Talk radio stations, local and national hosts, and News/Talk podcast

Prospect and develop new business through proactive outreach and cold calling

Build strong, consultative relationships with advertisers and decision‑makers

Create compelling, results‑driven marketing solutions for clients

Consistently maintain a strong pipeline by conducting 8–10 client/prospect meetings per week

Work collaboratively from the iHeartMedia office in your local market

What You’ll Need:

2–3+ years of direct sales experience in radio, audio, or media sales

A self‑starter mentality with a strong “go‑getter” attitude

Exceptional relationship‑building, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills

Persuasive communicator with strong storytelling ability

Highly organized, goal‑oriented, and proactive in a fast‑paced environment

Comfortable with cold calling and initiating outreach as part of lead generation

Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and social networking platforms

Ability to prioritize daily activities based on shifting business needs

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a high school diploma required (College degree preferred)

Envision Your First 30 Days:

What You’ll Bring:

Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return

Specialized knowledge of the media industry and related sales processes

Ability to apply expertise in a complex sales environment to service large and/or national accounts

Experience to anticipate customer needs based on advanced business knowledge and in depth understanding of customer’s strategy

Ease counseling and negotiating with senior executives

Desire to stay abreast of emerging market trends and customer needs to expand relationships and trust

Ability to guide others to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought to identify innovating sales solutions

Team leadership experience and/or a desire to act as a role model or mentor to develop others

Compensation:
This position will be paid on a 100% commission basis. Commission rates range from 4.0%–11.0%.
