Position Overview
Waters Biosciences is looking for a strategic, data-driven Global Product Marketing Manager to lead growth initiatives across the flow cytometry instrument portfolio. The core focus is driving legacy‑to‑next‑gen instrument transitions; however, the scope extends to broader growth strategies including market expansion, commercial program development, competitive intelligence, and portfolio growth across the Instruments and Informatics Segment.

The ideal candidate is a downstream marketing leader with exceptional data analytics skills and proven ability to influence across functions—driving high‑impact, time‑critical initiatives within a global matrix environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own global legacy instrument replacement and upgrade programs end‑to‑end, including roadmap, segmentation, value propositions, and trade‑in/trade‑up programs

Partner with Global Service to deploy pricing strategies that accelerate platform conversions

Ensure a scalable, seamless global trade‑in/trade‑up process

Empower regions to localise execution while maintaining global consistency

Track KPIs and dashboards to measure program performance

Identify and pursue growth opportunities across the portfolio—developing commercial programmes to enable market expansion, new customer acquisition, and attach strategies

Contribute to annual and long‑range planning with market insights and growth projections

Lead downstream marketing strategy and execution across all growth initiatives—upgrade programmes, market expansion, new customer acquisition, and attach strategies

Develop messaging and positioning that resonates with key customer personas across research, clinical, and industry segments

Build and manage multi‑channel programmes—digital, email, events, webinars—to generate demand and accelerate conversion

Partner with regional teams to localise and land global campaigns effectively

Develop customer‑facing content—brochures, case studies, economic value calculators and web content—to support the buyer journey

Build sales enablement tools—Total Cost of Ownership calculators, Return on Investment models, value tools, and objection‑handling guides—to support growth conversations

Collaborate closely with growth marketing and marketing communications to align strategy, messaging, and demand generation across all growth initiatives

Segment the installed base and build scenario models to prioritise high‑impact opportunities

Own dashboards tracking installed base performance, conversion rates, funnel health, and programme effectiveness

Build and maintain TCO calculators and financial tools to support customer and sales conversations

Analyse pricing trends, tender activity, and competitive dynamics to sharpen commercial strategy

Synthesise data from SFDC, ServiceMax, Power BI, and Excel into clear, actionable executive insights

Establish data governance standards and reporting cadences to ensure consistent global visibility

Maintain competitive intelligence frameworks tracking positioning, product launches, pricing, and market share

Convert competitive insights into actionable messaging, sales tools, and campaign strategies

Monitor pricing and tender activity to keep commercial strategies competitive and regionally relevant

Partner with regional leaders and sales to drive market penetration and revenue growth

Cultivate relationships with strategic customers and key opinion leaders to accelerate adoption

Shape long‑range marketing plans that cement Waters Biosciences’ leadership in flow cytometry

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; MBA or Master’s in Immunology, Cell Biology or related scientific discipline is preferred

5+ years of marketing experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or scientific instrumentation

Flow cytometry experience required

Proven track record building and executing global marketing programmes that drive commercial results

Strong analytics skills—installed base segmentation, funnel analysis, competitive tracking, pricing, and financial modeling

Advanced PowerPoint, Think‑Cell, Word and Excel proficiency; experience with Power BI, SFDC, and ServiceMax preferred

Exceptional communicator with the ability to turn complex data into clear executive narratives – comfortable influencing at all levels

Strong cross‑functional leadership, change management, and problem‑solving skills

Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or Master’s in Immunology, Cell Biology or related scientific discipline
