As the Internal Communications Specialist on the Culture Transformation team, you will play a key role in shaping how employees experience communication at Weaver. Partnering closely with People Operations, firm leaders, and stakeholders across the firm, you will develop thoughtful, engaging communications that inform, inspire, and strengthen our culture.

You'll serve as a trusted communications partner developing executive messaging, creating meaningful employee communications, and identifying opportunities to continually improve how we connect with our people. Because this role supports highly visible initiatives and firm leadership, we’re looking for someone who brings professionalism, sound judgment, creativity, and outstanding communication skills.

What You’ll Do

Develop, write, edit, and manage internal communications including firm‑wide announcements, newsletters, executive messages, leadership communications, and employee updates, ensuring content is clear and aligned with Weaver’s tone and employee‑experience goals.

Partner with leaders across the firm to understand communication needs and develop messaging that aligns with business priorities and Weaver’s culture.

Create presentations, executive talking points, and communication materials for leadership meetings, firm‑wide events, and organizational initiatives.

Manage and continuously improve SharePoint intranet content, ensuring information remains accurate, accessible, and relevant.

Own and maintain the internal communication calendar, partnering across People Operations and other teams to coordinate messaging and optimize communication timing.

Recommend communication strategies that improve employee awareness, engagement, and understanding of key initiatives.

Analyze communication performance and engagement metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Support employee engagement and culture initiatives by developing communication plans and promotional content that encourage participation and connection.

Utilize tools including Microsoft 365, Copilot, SharePoint, ContactMonkey, Canva, Monday.com, and other communication platforms to develop and distribute communications.

Stay informed on firm priorities, organizational changes, and People Operations initiatives to proactively identify communication opportunities.

Continuously evaluate communication processes and recommend improvements that enhance the employee experience.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.

At least 2 years of professional experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee communications, public relations, marketing communications, or a related field.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable interacting with people virtually and in person to cross‑functionally support teams within the firm.

Highly organized and detail oriented.

Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting executive or leadership communications.

Experience working in a professional services or corporate environment.

Experience developing communication strategies that support employee engagement, organizational change, or culture initiatives.

Experience with SharePoint, ContactMonkey (or similar email communication platforms), Canva, and Microsoft Copilot.
