The Opportunity
At Qualified by Salesforce, our Renewals Manager will strive to create long‑term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Renewals Manager will own a portfolio of existing customers, prioritize maximizing customer retention through negotiating complex contracts and developing new business from existing customers. You drive these relationships ensuring we maintain thriving, happy customers while also navigating the challenges of startup contracts that may cross over to large Salesforce agreements through M&A activities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Owning our customer renewals by building and maintaining long‑lasting client relationships
Developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing customer‑facing presentations and pricing
Answering client queries and identifying new business opportunities among existing customers
Liaising with cross‑functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience
Serving as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits and minimize customer churn
Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Clearly communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Forecasting and tracking key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Preparing reports on account status
Collaborating with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities
Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of proven work experience as a Renewals Manager, Account Manager, or Key Account Manager
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or a relevant field
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C‑level
Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and CPQ tools
Experience delivering client‑focused solutions to customer needs
Excellent communicator with a way with people
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills to handle multiple tasks and clients at once
Compensation
The typical base salary range for this position is $71,400 - $95,550 annually. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role is $78,540 - $105,140 per year.
