Job Summary

Hazard Community and Technical College invites applications for the position of Marketing/Communications Specialist I. The Marketing/Communications Specialist I will be primarily responsible for developing and disseminating outreach materials for retention related programs and services.
NOTE: Position funded by Title III grant.
Job Duties

Develop promotion/outreach materials for retention related programs and services.
Work closely with faculty and student services to design, promote, and embed retention services materials and media.
Coordinate the creation of video and audio productions.
Design desktop publishing materials for distribution.
Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of college-wide print jobs.
Use data analytics to make outreach and promotion decisions.
Publish retention related media and materials internally and on social media.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (related field) plus four years related experience, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in desktop publishing, video and audio production, and graphic design is preferred.
