Working remotely on a contracted to full-time basis, the Freelance Surfacing / Look Development Artist will create high-quality textures, materials, and shaders for animated productions while ensuring assets align with the project's artistic vision within the Unreal Engine pipeline.

Create textures for characters, props, and environments
Develop materials and shaders for Unreal Engine
Perform look development to match the project's visual style
Required qualifications
Strong texturing skills using Substance Painter or equivalent software
Proven experience performing look development for characters, props, and environments
Organized and speedy UV skills to improve asset quality and efficiency
Strong understanding of materials, shaders, and surfacing workflows within Unreal Engine 5
Experience creating high-quality, production-ready textures and materials that align with an established visual style
