Director of Inside Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Vice President of Sales
Position Summary
PureWay Compliance is seeking an experienced Director of Inside Sales & Business Development to lead and develop a growing inside sales organization. This role will manage a team of 4-6 inside sales professionals responsible for inbound lead conversion, outbound prospecting, pipeline development, and new customer acquisition across healthcare, national accounts, and regulated waste markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing inside sales team.
- Manage inbound lead qualification and conversion activities.
- Develop outbound prospecting programs targeting key market segments.
- Establish sales processes, performance standards, and accountability.
- Partner with marketing, field sales, and national account teams to drive growth.
- Manage CRM adoption, pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Recruit, onboard, and train future team members.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of inside sales leadership experience.
- Proven success managing and developing sales teams.
- Strong experience with outbound prospecting and inbound lead management.
- CRM, pipeline management, and forecasting expertise.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within regulated medical waste, hazardous waste, environmental services, healthcare services, healthcare distribution, or compliance-related industries preferred.
- Experience leading inside sales, business development, or sales development teams in progressive, growth-oriented sales organizations.
- Demonstrated success building outbound prospecting programs and developing high-performing sales teams.
