Commercial Account Manager

Overview
A well established independent insurance brokerage is seeking a Senior Commercial Account Manager to support a middle market commercial book of business. This individual will work closely with producers, carrier partners, and clients to deliver high quality service and drive account retention. Location: Bakersfield, CA (Onsite).

Responsibilities

Manage day to day servicing of a commercial P&C book of business

Coordinate renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes

Market accounts and obtain competitive quotes from carrier partners

Review policies and coverage documents for accuracy

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and carriers

Support producers with account strategy, renewals, and retention efforts

Assist with coverage reviews and risk management recommendations

Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of commercial insurance account management experience

Current experience working for an insurance broker or agency

Strong knowledge of Commercial Property, General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, and Excess Liability

Experience handling middle market commercial accounts

Ability to manage the renewal process from marketing through binding with minimal supervision

Applied EPIC experience preferred

Active California P&C license preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and client service skills

Compensation & Benefits

$80,000 to $95,000 base salary
