Your Role

The Associate Product Developer is an individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development and execution of product from design intent through production. This role creates and maintains development documents and reports, ensuring timeframes are consistently met across sample tracking, systems maintenance and cross‑functional communication. This position may support more than one product category.

Your Impact

Supports development of new products, from design ideation phase through final sample approvals by attending milestone meetings such as tech pack pass‑off meetings, Color blitz, Line Review and Details meeting

Supports tech pack pass‑off at the category level, working with design and regional office to answer development questions

Positions color sample yardage for Line Review Samples

Initiates proto and color sample requests with vendors and regional offices

Tracks yardage & sample readiness for color samples & protos

Checks samples for accuracy and works with vendor/region on sample accuracy and quality callouts

Creates and maintains seasonal development trackers

Manages all BOMs in Centric PLM

Communicates with vendor base on any changes to BOMs or color components throughout development cycle

Troubleshoots issues in development of the product related to construction, production execution and sample tracking etc.

Compiles data and reporting to support cross‑functional risk assessment and weekly product readiness meetings for product category

Joins fittings with support any RM changes that would require BOM updates

Minimum Salary:

$68,200.00

Maximum Salary:

$89,460.00

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related area, or equivalent experience

1–3 years of related experience

Detail‑oriented and organized with consistent follow‑through

Flexible and adaptable to change; team player

Basic knowledge of FlexPLM preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience working with Design and/or Merchandising

Experience working with overseas suppliers, agents or offices

Basic knowledge of garment construction and costing
