Job Description
Sales Representative role focused on expanding the spirits portfolio within the on‑premise customer base in the Des Moines Metro area. The candidate will consultatively sell to business accounts, build relationships, and drive new and existing accounts.
Responsibilities
Ensure consistent customer contact
Plan and execute sales initiatives
Handle all customer issues promptly and friendly manner
Fully understand products and promotional schedules
Make effective sales presentations
Achieve assigned company objectives and grow business
Identify and nurture new and undersold accounts
Use all available POS to enhance selling efforts
Know all deals, programming, and initiatives company has
Follow necessary steps when making sales calls
Provide reliable and consistent customer service to accounts
Conduct face‑to‑face interaction with customers
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Handle all paperwork issues properly and timely
Qualifications
Skills & Abilities
Self‑motivated, disciplined, goal‑oriented, timely, and able to prioritize
Goal and results driven
Connect well with a wide range of buyer types
Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills
Presentation building and presenting skills
Accessibility
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
Availability to work outside 8‑5 schedule, including early evenings and occasional weekends
Years of Experience
Minimum 2 years in a Sales Representative role or higher
Education
BS degree or equivalent work experience
Background Requirements
Candidate must pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record review.
