Regional Director, Women's Health Sales
Location: Northern California. Ideal candidate must reside in the territory.

The Regional Director is responsible for the sales and growth of Natera’s genetic testing products, including noninvasive prenatal testing, carrier screen testing, and miscarriage testing. This role ensures profitable growth in sales through planning, execution, and management of a team in the Northern California region.

Primary Responsibilities

Educate and recruit Key Opinion Leaders from the OBGYN medical community.

Become an expert in Natera’s technology and service offerings and represent the company and its business interests to physicians and hospitals.

Develop and execute plans to ensure rapid distribution of all products.

Create business plans based on sales goals, expectations, and available resources, including regional strategies and tactics.

Recruit, select, hire, and coordinate the training of all sales professionals within the region.

Provide constructive feedback to sales professionals to maximize their potential.

Allocate sufficient time, as defined by the VP, in the field with sales professionals to help them develop, providing direction and feedback.

Provide direction based on field input, market assessments, and trends to implement best practices.

Plan, design, and implement territory alignment based on maximum ROI.

Support sales professionals by providing guidance and career development.

Establish positive working relationships with all key customer segments (internal and external).

Qualifications

BA in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; MBA preferred.

Background in medical or biological sciences; clinical diagnostics preferred.

Minimum three years of physician sales experience in a diagnostic laboratory business (preferably in a genetics laboratory).

Minimum five years of successful sales management experience, preferably in a diagnostic laboratory business.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven track record of successfully leading a sales team to develop new markets, launch new products, and increase revenue quickly.

Award-winning management track record.

Market knowledge and experience in reproductive health preferred.

Team oriented.

Excellent coach, and coachable.

Excellent initiative and self-motivation.

Ability to effectively maneuver through complex situations, both internal and external.

Proven leadership with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Act with a sense of urgency, focused on leading a sales team to drive exceptional revenue growth.

Develop and execute strategic business plans.

Confident in delivering record-breaking growth, implementing successful sales strategies, and playing a critical role in the organization’s success.

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and SalesForce.com.

Compensation & Total Rewards
The total On Target Earnings (OTE) offers a competitive base salary and uncapped quarterly commissions. In addition, a car allowance and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) are provided.

Compensation Range: $226,000 - $263,000 USD
