Supporting the Federal Aviation Administration, the full-time remote Technical Editor/Writer will provide editing expertise for policy and guidance documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance while managing multiple document projects.
Key responsibilities
Revise, create, and update policy and guidance documents for the Flight Standards Service
Perform detailed editing reviews and verify accuracy of references and terminology
Coordinate document projects and maintain records of production steps and communications
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and publishing tools like Adobe Acrobat
Experience with 508 compliance
Strong research and electronic organization skills
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability
