Job Description:

Head of Business Capabilities – Global Digital Activation

responsible for leading and managing the deployment, implementation, and adoption of digital solutions within Abbott.
Key Responsibilities

Align digital solutions capabilities with overall business strategy, objectives and goals.
Translate business requirements into user stories and functional enhancements for existing or new tools and applications.
Organize, prioritize, document functional requirements and assess downstream impact on markets and customers.
Define operational benefits and business cases for new capabilities.
Lead a team focused on end‑to‑end implementation of Digital Health Solution (DHS) delivery.
Implement standardized project planning, control processes and ensure effective use of tools across programs.
Establish and maintain Project Management Office scope, strategy and program oversight.
Drive continual improvement in project execution and completion.
Collaborate with senior leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives related to DHS.
Act as direct point of contact for program escalations and strategic direction to increase solution adoption and product utilization.
Mentor and develop leaders within the DHS delivery practice up to senior manager level.
Select, develop and evaluate digital solutions professional services SMEs and other staff as required.
Identify, analyze and improve digital solutions capabilities to enable efficient delivery.
Ensure DHS capabilities are continuously monitored and evaluated for effectiveness.
Represent business interests to the Archetype Process & Systems Excellence team and Voice of Abbott DHS.
Participate in release planning, backlog refinement and prioritization based on ROI.
Work with markets and other businesses to identify automation, simplification, and integration opportunities.
Make data‑driven decisions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Facilitate inter‑team dependencies and manage content validations, user acceptance testing and final product fit for purpose.
Coordinate with Transformation Program leaders, BPOs and BPEs to prioritize capability roadmaps and drive market adoption.
Collaborate with product, business and functional teams to identify gaps and launch requirements.
Serve as ambassador for global services capabilities across the business.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, product development or related field.
10+ years of experience in marketing, sales, product development or a related field.
Experience in high‑tech, healthcare/med‑tech digital solutions businesses.
Strong track record driving digital processes and launching innovative digital solutions in the medical space.
Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
Strong experience in strategy development and execution, preferably with consulting or business development background.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or other master’s degree preferred.
Compensation

Base pay range: $149,300.00 – $298,700.00 (may vary by location).
Job Family & Division

Product Development; CRLB Core Lab.
Work Conditions

Standard work shift.
Travel: Yes, 15% of the time.
Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8‑hour day).
