Job Title: Production / Merchandise Packaging Associate Location: Los Angeles, CA 91311 (On-site) Pay Rate: $18.42/hr (W2) Schedule: Shift 1 Hours: 40 hrs/week Duration: Approx. 2 weeks (contract) Physical Requirement: Up to 30 lbs lifting (Tier 3)
Position Summary

We're hiring a dependable Merchandise Packaging Associate to support a fast-paced warehouse/production environment. This role focuses on packaging finished merchandise accurately, keeping up with daily production goals, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
Key Responsibilities

Package merchandise following work instructions (boxing, bagging, labeling, sealing).
Inspect items for defects, damage, and correct quantity before packing.
Apply labels, barcodes, and packing slips accurately.
Build cartons/boxes and prepare orders for staging or shipping.
Count and verify product to ensure accurate packaging and order completion.
Keep the workstation clean and follow safety and quality standards.
Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed (sorting, kitting, rework, light assembly).
Qualifications

Warehouse or packaging experience preferred (but willing to train the right person).
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs.
Strong attention to detail (quality, counts, labeling accuracy).
Reliable attendance and ability to work at a steady pace.
Work Environment

Warehouse/production setting (may be warm/cool depending on area)
Repetitive motion, standing, bending, and lifting required
Safety rules must be followed at all times
