This key leadership role is responsible for driving the digital transformation of the company's laboratories, with a focus on incorporating new technologies such as digitization, automation, robotics, and advanced real-time data analytics. The successful candidate will have a science background and extensive experience in digital and technology-enabled laboratories, including a strong foundation in robotics and autonomous operations. They will be tasked with managing a large team of professionals, defining digital business platforms, and ensuring the delivery of seamless digital capabilities that support the company's mission of providing innovative and affordable medicines and vaccines.
Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with at least 12 years' experience in digital/technology-enabled laboratories and a minimum of 5 years in executive management. The role requires a proven track record in managing large programs and a deep understanding of digital technologies, including AI, IoT, and data analytics. Experience in a GMP-regulated environment and with laboratory control systems is essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of engaging with R&D IT to ensure a seamless process between R&D and manufacturing, and will have a strong leadership presence with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
