Commercial Property Manager - Hands-On, Client-Focused
Are you the type of Property Manager who likes to know your buildings, know your tenants, and stay ahead of problems before they become problems?
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Property Manager who enjoys a role that combines property operations, tenant relationships, financial responsibilities, and time spent out in the field. This is an opportunity for someone who takes ownership of their portfolio and genuinely cares about providing excellent service.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a commercial real estate portfolio, serving as a key point of contact for tenants, vendors, and ownership.
The Commercial Property Manager responsibilities will include:
Overseeing daily property operations and responding to tenant needs
Building strong, professional relationships with tenants and clients
Regularly visiting and inspecting properties
Coordinating vendors, maintenance, repairs, and property projects
Reviewing, coding, and approving property invoices
Preparing tenant bill-backs and monitoring property expenses
Assisting with annual budgets and CAM reconciliations
Helping ensure properties operate within established budgets
Following up on projects and issues through completion
Identifying opportunities to improve property operations and service
What We’re Looking For in a Commercial Property Manager
3-5+ years of direct commercial property management experience
Strong tenant and customer service skills
Working knowledge of commercial property financials, budgeting, and accounting
Organized, responsive, and able to manage competing priorities
Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, YARDI A PLUS!
A proactive mindset—you see what needs to be done and take action
Professional, approachable, and able to work effectively with tenants, vendors, clients, and team members
