Job Description
The Program Coordinator provides hands-on program support for Executive MBA and non-degree offerings, with a focus on day-to-day program operations and delivery. The role works closely with colleagues in the Healthcare Division and across Graduate & Executive Education to complete assigned tasks, follow established processes, and support consistent program execution. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics for residency periods and off-campus activities, maintaining Canvas and other online learning platforms, and assisting with the delivery of program services. The position also supports routine communication and relationship coordination with students, non-degree participants, and partner institutions. This role contributes to the smooth operation of programs by ensuring details are executed accurately, timelines are met, and services are delivered at a high standard in accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities
Day to Day Program Operations & Delivery
The position will have responsibility for delivering the day-to-day operations of the Executive MBA degree and non-degree programs, as well as assisting with event services, alumni relations, and program marketing as needed.
Program operations and delivery include planning and coordinating efforts for multiple on-campus residency periods and non-degree courses, as well as off-campus residency periods and non-degree courses. This includes delivery of services such as catering, transportation, hotel and logistical services.
Collaborate with Vendors, Faculty and other GEE Team members to support program delivery.
Maintenance of inventory, materials, furniture & supplies necessary for the success of the GEE program.
Other duties as requested to support business and program needs
Organizational Scheduling, Process Improvement, and Classroom Support
This position will provide general support as needed for staff and faculty in the delivery of Healthcare Division educational and non-degree services by providing scheduling and coordination of activities and program timelines to ensure smooth delivery.
This role will manage and maintain Canvas course sites as the primary classroom for students and non-degree participants, including creating course shells, uploading and organizing course materials, setting and verifying due dates, testing links and course functionality, and ensuring courses stay ready and accurate for student use. Will serve as a day-to-day resource for faculty and students/participants by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and coordinating updates to course content and schedules as needed.
Relationship Development, Marketing, and Recruiting
Serve as a key point of contact and ongoing resource for students and non-degree participants, supporting relationship development through regular communication, responsiveness to needs, and collaboration with faculty, staff, partner institutions, and vendors.
Support recruitment, admission, and on-boarding process by ensuring all needed materials are accurate and up to date. Support marketing efforts to prospective students and non-degree participants.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible business work experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Word processing, spreadsheet development, presentation formatting, and database management
Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and related educational software
