Interim Director of Care CoordinationAn Interim Director of Care Coordination is needed to provide leadership and operational oversight for care coordination, case management, utilization review, and social work functions within an acute care setting. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will oversee twenty-five FTEs. Key responsibilities include mentoring the department manager, assessing departmental operations and recommending opportunities for improved efficiency, supporting scheduling and workflow changes for social work staff, and advancing Medicare-related initiatives while ensuring effective care coordination across acute care, behavioral health, and women's services.The ideal candidate will be a nurse with California healthcare experience and previous leadership experience within a similarly sized hospital, with a strong background in case management and care coordination. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. This role is now offering a $2,500 Sign-on Bonus.Requirements include an RN required with an active California license, a Bachelor's degree, and significant healthcare leadership experience in care coordination, case management, utilization review, and/or social work within an acute care hospital setting; California experience is required.Greenbrae offers a scenic Northern California setting in Marin County, surrounded by rolling hills, waterfront landscapes, and abundant opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
