The residual effects of losing Bank of America five months ago still linger at BBDO New York, which has confirmed that it cut approximately two percent of its base of 800 people (16 or so if you want to do the math) late last week. We’ve been told that cuts were made across departments as a direct result of BofA, which shifted its business to WPP back in early May. But, the agency has reportedly “bounced back” in the wake of the Bank of America loss, expanding its relationship with HP and winning back global creative duties for Visa in subsequent months.
