Doug, the orange puppet, vigilante hero and online face of Ford Focus, is back with three new spots. In the past, we’ve seen him thwart thieves and hold a press conference. But, this time around, Doug (voiced by Paul F. Tompkins) and his suited companion John are hitting the streets of L.A. in the Focus, bumping the stereo and offering free rides to strangers.
The three new spots are, dare I say, even better than the press conference video. Director
Robert Cohen takes over for Paul Feig on this latest round, which makes us think we can see more from Doug in the future. We’ve even been told that Doug is available for interviews (say what?). Anyone up for AgencySpy sitting down for a chat with the spokespuppet? Two more spots (including the pair picking up a crazy woman) follow after the jump.
