Three months after introducing us to its “Always One of a Kind” effort for Dr. Pepper in which the masses wear their identities on their T’s, Deutsch L.A. is back with another installment in its campaign for the brand. As you can guess, this specific spot directed by Tool’s Geordie Stephens involves a tie-in with the likely blockbuster that is the The Avengers, which will arrive in theaters on May 4. Appropriately enough this time around, there’s a superhero twist to the mix and even a cameo from the one and only Stan Lee. We imagine that the soda-swilling, comic book geek demo might get a kick out of this, though we’re still partial to the original ad. If you’re a fan of Dr. Pepper’s T-shirt theme in general, it seems that this will be ongoing throughout this year.
