Hmm, seems like we’ve heard this song before, and not too long ago either. Within the last two hours, we’ve received multiple tips that Critical Mass is cutting staff in the New York office, which tipsters were alleging a month ago would eventually be “reduced to a skeleton.” We won’t get that dramatic, but just like last time, calls and emails to the Omnicom-owned digital agency have been left unanswered (well, at least they were very responsive when we were inquiring about their Miami tourism win). Here are some of the tips we received this afternoon from what appear to be all different sources:

“Lots of Layoffs at Critical Mass NYC”

“Critical mass seems to have cut more people from their New York office.   the number is about 6.  leaving only a few left in that office”

And the earliest one from lunchtime:

“The Critical Mass NY office just laid off an ACD and two art directors. Related to their slipping Citi account.”
