Wednesday Poll: Eric Silver Takes Over Amalgamated. Good, Bad, Ugly?

After being basically demoted from his CCO post at DDB New York, Eric Silver has now become the majority owner of Amalgamated New York according to AdAge. Silver tells the trade, “I wasn’t having that much fun at my last job, and when you’re not having fun, you’re not doing your best work.” Having already brought on the CarMax account to Amalgamated, which our predecessor said at one point “blows,” Silver and his new career move begs the question, is this a good idea? If yes or no, why?
