W+K’s Keith Cartwright Leaves for Martin

Sources familiar with the matter have confirmed that W+K New York creative director Keith Cartwright officially left last Friday for a gig at The Martin Agency, though we’re still awaiting word from his new employer as to what his post will be, when he starts, etc.

Cartwright joined W+K NY as a CD in 2007 and subsequently worked on campaigns for Brand Jordan/Jordan Brand including the “Nightmares Never Sleep” spot starring Dwyane Wade from earlier this year. Prior to W+K, Cartwright spent two years as an ACD at Chiat San Francisco and several before that as a senior art director at Ogilvy.

Update: We’ve been told that Cartwright will be joining Martin as a creative director, though no start date has been confirmed as of yet.
