Zambezi Sets Up Shop in Shanghai

The folks at L.A.-based agency Zambezi, who as we’ve mentioned before were behind the Jennifer Aniston/SmartWater hilarity and the Blingology 101 spot among others, are looking to make their mark on the other side of the world by opening an office in Shanghai. Zambezi’s China branch currently houses seven “sharks” (that’s what they call their staffers) and are hard at work on an in-country, full-scale campaign in Mandarin for client, sportswear brand Li-Ning (which is now trying to creating its own footprint in the US). The agency is also getting new business development efforts underway and will work with the L.A. HQ as needed.
