The 2014 Glastonbury Festival kicked off today, with luminaries such as Arcade Fire, Metallica, Kasabian, Skrillex, Massive Attack, Jack White, Ellie Goulding and Lily Allen on hand to entertain the crowds through until Sunday.
Twitter, of course, soaks up a lot of fan commentary during live events such as Glastonbury – 54 percent will be using Twitter this summer to follow festivals, and 47 percent say that Twitter makes them feel closer to events that they can’t attend.
