Digital comics platform NARR8 has a new multimedia editing tool that lets readers and writers alike build their own interactive comics.
Using StoryBuilder you can either choose from NARR8′s provided content or add your own images, animation, audio recordings, and special effects to create a story. Once you have created your story, you can publish it to the NARR8 network which has more than 800,00o users.
All of this content is free until it hits 1,000 downloads, at which time you have to sell it for NARRs, the platform’s virtual currency. You can use NARR to access additional content and features on the site. The company has plans to create a revenue-sharing model so that you can get paid for your creations in the future.
“By implementing ‘StoryBuilder,’ we are allowing our creative fans who wish to share their stories with our 800,000+ users all over the world,” explained Alexandr Vashchenko, founder of NARR8 in a statement. “We’re excited to continue evolving the NARR8 product and look forward to what this great addition will bring.”
