To celebrate the five year anniversary of Apple’s App Store, eBay created a challenge. They asked 200 people to live without apps for 4 days. This was tough and more than a third of them failed. One participant compared the task to the experience to quitting smoking and another said that he or she felt “naked.”
eBay has turned the results into an infographic called, “What’s Life Without Apps?”. According to the graphic, once they got their apps back, 55% reported feeling happier, 40% reported feeling more productive, 39% felt calmer and 32% felt less frustrated. We’ve embedded the entire graphic after the jump for you to explore further.
