At Saint, 06.18.03

There was a doctor, a construction worker, a teacher, and a former journalist, and the common thread among them all—and among everyone else who turned out at Saint that night—was love for a certain smart, literary, and news-making website. At Salon.com's first community party, that dedication (these folks were all premium members, after all) was enough to keep the crowd talking—and drinking—for hours.
