Today's the birthday of Matt Bai. Joe Theismann is 59. On this day in 1976, Mao Tse-tung died. On this day in 1926, The National Broadcasting Co. was created by the Radio Corporation of America. Check out Forbes' ranking of Washington's power restaurants. You think Obama/Biden is going to win in November. Hitting newsstands this week: Mother Jones' 250th issue. Check out today's White House Photo of the Day from Time. Today's "Angry Journalist" rant of the day: "Check out the Onion movie. Even if you find the overall 'message' preachy, the missing socks sketch brings the laughs. For us awkward, bitter newspaper people, anyway."
