Attention D.C. Media: Be on Lookout for Jolie

We hear that actress Angelina Jolie is considering showing up at a National Press Club luncheon on. Jan 20 that will detail a new report on the late Daniel Pearl.

The Center for Public Integrity is hosting the presser and luncheon to highlight a WSJ investigative report on the 2002 kidnapping and murder of WSJ’s Pearl. The project is financed through the Ethics & Excellence in Journalism Foundation.

Jolie played Pearl’s widow, Mariane, in the movie A Mighty Heart. She’s no stranger to Washington. In July 2010, she visited the Newseum to promote her movie Salt.
