Brounstein Upped at SELF

SELF Magazine Editor-in-Chief Lucy Danziger today announced today that Laura Brounstein has been named Features and Entertainment Director for the magazine.  Although based in New York City, Brounstein has spearheaded efforts to increase the publication’s coverage of Washington and was responsible for hiring Marc Adelman as SELF’s first DC editor.

“Laura’s role has broadened into additional editorial areas extending beyond the healthy habits of celebrities,” Danziger told us. “Her expertise is helping SELF expand our reach and influence within the DC community as she continues to deliver our audience of 12 million the most inspiring news and lifestyle information about their favorite SELFy stars.”

Brounstein has been SELF’s Entertainment Director since 2007.  Before joining the magazine industry, she  worked in television, as a Segment Producer for Extra and an Associate Producer for Good Morning America.
