Hundreds turned out for the preview of “Black in America 2″ at the Navy Memorial Heritage Center last night.

Roland Martin and executive producer Mark Nelson introduced the preview and invited audience members to join the conversation online while they were watching by sending tweets to @blackinamericacnn. Post-preview Roland moderated a panel discussion and Q & A with Greater Washington Urban League President Maudine Cooper, Paul Shephard of AOL Black Voices, Wedded Bliss Foundation Founder Nisa Muhammad, John Rice of Management Leadership for Tomorrow, TheRoot.com’s Dayo Olopade and CNN Productions Exec Producer Mark Nelson.

The four-hour documentary premieres Wednesday, July 22 with Black in America 2: Today’s Pioneers airing from 8pm – 10pm and on Thursday, July 23 Black in America 2: Tomorrow’s Leaders airs from 8pm – 10pm.
