Election Day Coverage Plans
• MSNBC: White House correspondent and political director Chuck Todd will anchor the 11am and 2pm hours on MSNBC from Washington tomorrow. Ed Schultz will take over the 4pm hour. Following the regularly scheduled primetime lineup, live editions will air of “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” at 10pm, “The Rachel Maddow Show” at 11pm and “Hardball with Chris Matthews” at midnight.
• CNN: Wolf Blitzer will anchor CNN’s live coverage of returns as the polls close. Campbell Brown, Anderson Cooper and Larry King will center their programs on the election, with input from Gloria Borger, Candy Crowley, John King and Jessica Yellin. There will be a special edition of “Larry King Live” at midnight with guests, including Mayor Cory Booker, David Gergen, BET host Jeff Johnson and Ben Stein. Other guest throughout the night include Gov. Tim Kaine (D-VA), RNC chairman Michael Steele and former Gov. Jesse Ventura.
