FP Celebrates Three NMA Noms

Some terrific news this morning: FP has been nominated as a finalist for three National Magazine Awards – our most ever and a wonderful recognition of everyone’s terrific work. We’re finalists for General Excellence, for Photojournalism (that awesome North Korea photo essay by Tomas van Houtryve, “The Land of No Smiles”) and, in the new digital categories this year, Tom Ricks‘s blog, The Best Defense has been nominated for best blog, a great accomplishment his first year in the blogosphere. FP over the last decade has been extraordinarily privileged to win recognition from the NMAs, especially considering the incredible magazines that are out there and we are once again just thrilled to be considered.
