Gomez Gone, But Salahi Hair Will Still Get Teased

Style and glamour are no longer linked just to chi chi Georgetown spas. Though Erwin Gomez, the DC beauty guru  and a society-lady favorite, has left the spa that bears his name (and his ex-boyfriend James Packard-Gomez is getting all catty on Facebook with accusations involving dead, frozen dogs) Circe Salon and Day Spa recently proved that Alexandria can hold its own.

Three stars of The Real Housewives of DC visited the spa this week. Michaele and Tareq Salahi visited the spa for treatments Wednesday. Housewife Stacie Turner is expected later in the week.

The spa’s new owners, Ellen and Richard Vlasak, who are revitalizing the shop and said to be adding luxurious new touches for Alexandrians and Washingtonians, are beyond ecstatic about the Salahi’s visit. Ellen Vlasak wouldn’t dish on what services they got, but told FishbowlDC in a phone call this afternoon that the Salahis were “very nice. They were very cordial. They were very likable. They had a really good time.”

Ellen said all celeb visits are private – she was mum on whether the Salahis were big tippers.¬† “Anytime we get a celebrity we always keep the details of their visit confidential,” she said. “We respect that. That’s what keeps them coming back.” She said the spa gets a number of celebrities..”and we’re hoping to get more.”

Other observations? “All of the service providers had a really good time with the whole thing. The Salahis [pictured above at the spa] were very relaxed and they looked awesome when they left.”
