How Did Ifill Do?
Says Lawrence O’Donnell on “Morning Joe”:
The loser of that debate in the biggest way to me was Gwen Ifill. That was someone who did not meet expectations. She did not do follow-up questions. She let this thing roam. She let them go. And they were all the softest version of every question that you could think of.
That’s a really good point.
Too many people are asking the question: Did the controversy before about her book on The Age of Obama, actually stop her from being an aggressive moderator. You’re exactly right. She did not dig in deep, she was not aggressive. She certainly didn’t pull out Palin or Biden.
