McCain, Snooki Linked on Twitter

In what may be the strangest pairing imaginable (for the week), Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) caused a stir Wednesday when he tweeted to “Jersey Shore’s” Snooki.

@SenJohnMcCain: @Sn00ki u r right, I’d never tax your tanning bed! Obama’s tax/spend policy is quite The Situation. I do rec sunscreen!

ABC’s White House correspondent Jake Tapper gave the senator a tip on another reality show cast member with whom he might like to tweet: @SenJohnMcCain just fyi, @ItstheSituation is on twitter.
