This morning on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski shed light on her bizarre obsession earlier in the week with yanking babies and children onto the set in Boca Raton, Fla.

Particularly illuminating was when Mika explained why she felt the need to smash 9-year-old Annabell‘s face into her bosom. As co-host Joe Scarborough playfully mocked her, Mika explained that poor Annabell (not pictured here, that’s happy Harper) was getting booed and screamed at for voicing her presidential pick of Mitt Romney.

“You don’t understand…you didn’t hear it as much watching at home,” Mika said. “The guy behind was boo to this poor little girl, and I told him off.”

Viewers seemed to get a kick out of Mika’s affinity for the little dumplings and offered their babies for her to hold. One fan begged on Twitter… “My baby first Mika!! I beg of you!! Baby George is adorable!!!!” Another chimed in, “You can hold Baby George. Unfortunately he always gets his facts mixed up in discussions.”
