Former RTNDA President Barbara Cochran will be honored with the “Giants Of Broadcasting Award” from the Library Of American Broadcasting in NY today. Cochran retired as RTNDA president this summer after 12 years and prior to that she was the Washington bureau chief of CBS News, the executive producer of “Meet the Press” and vice president of news at NPR.
