We told you last week that George Stephanopoulos‘ duties would be increasing at ABC- he’ll be Diane Sawyer‘s primary substitute anchor of “World News” come January when she takes over for Charlie Gibson. Now he’s name is being circulated as Sawyer’s replacement as “GMA” anchor. More in LAT.

AP: Jack Nelson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter who covered the civil rights movement and the Watergate scandal for the Los Angeles Times, has died. Nelson, 80, died at home early Wednesday.
